The Crossways Inn
Steve, Abi and the team welcome you to The Crossways Inn, West Huntspill in Somerset. A family run 17th Century Coaching Inn serving good home cooked fresh food with a great selection of 9 real ales, local farmhouse ciders, lagers and fine wines. We also have a 4 star adjoining Bed & Breakfast, please see below for more information.
During the warmer summer months we have a large enclosed beer garden with an outdoor play area for the children to enjoy with lots of seating for the adults and during the not so warm winter months we have 2 stunning open fire places to keep those feet and hands warm.
The Crossways Inn has claims originating back to around the 17th century. Its location would have made it a calling stage for coaches and carriages. Being adjacent to the common, it would have been part of the fairs and animal markets which occurred there until the late 19th century. There is also photographic evidence of hunts meeting here.
A brief history of the Pub

The historical whys and wherefores of a ceremony of this type are unknown.
Our new kitchen opening hours are Tuesday through to Saturday lunch and Friday evenings. This does not affect breakfast for our B&B guests. We are open for drinks all day every day.
