Razzamataz was created with a simple dream, to make performing arts available to as many young people as possible. We want to give children everywhere the chance to attend classes taught by experienced performers, who can give them the perfect introduction to the most wonderful industry in the world! Over the years we have created a business system that helps keep costs down and class numbers up, bringing our classes to towns and villages as well as the larger cities.

Our business was established in 2000 and was backed in 2007 by BBC’s Dragons’ Den. Today franchising is allowing us to achieve our dream, because it gives the finest talent across the country the opportunity to own and manage a successful business whilst following a tried and tested system. It also means our franchisees can set up their school on their own doorstep, and bring their passion, talent and commitment to the young people of the local area.

Razzamataz Theatre Schools was established in 2000 and offers exceptional training in dance, drama and singing together with exciting opportunities to perform.

After an appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den and an investment from Duncan Bannatyne, the schools were further propelled into the limelight with more high profile partnerships gained.

The classes cover everything from traditional West End Musical Theatre through to Street dance, Pop singing and acting for camera. Students gain valuable insights into the industry with regular special guest workshops led by experienced professionals from stage and screen.

There is a strong focus on performance opportunities to help students develop their confidence and potential and allow every child the chance to step into the spotlight. The ethos throughout all the classes is on having fun, making new friends and enjoying being active leading to happy and healthy children.

Many students have also gained professional performing work ranging from shows in the West End to leading acting roles on TV, thanks to our partnership with an established talent agency.

Classes for the main school start at age 4 through to 18. There are also parent assisted classes for little ones who are aged 2 and 3 as well as focused classes to help prepare students for professional vocational college auditions.
