Wednesday 16 October: the museum will be closed on this day for a private event.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

York Army Museum is home to the collections of the Prince of Wales’s Own Regiment of Yorkshire and the Royal Dragoon Guards. One infantry, one cavalry, both are built on the histories of earlier regiments, spanning over 300 years of British military history. As a descendent of the Prince of Wales’s Own, the museum is also home to the collection of the modern Royal Yorkshire Regiment

Since its reopening in 2015, York Army Museum has produced or hosted at least two temporary exhibitions per year. Curious to find out more about them? Click here to discover these past exhibitions. The current exhibition can be found at the top of this page in ‘Current and Upcoming Events’.
